Act now to secure £190 from TSB: Essential steps for new customers before offer expires

TSB and other banking customers are being urged to act swiftly before the week’s end or risk losing out on a potential £190. The bank is currently offering a cash incentive for new customers who switch to its Spend & Save or Spend & Save Plus current account.

However, there are a few steps to follow in order to secure the full £190. Initially, customers can earn £100 by making at least five payments and logging into the TSB Mobile Banking app once by September 27.

TSB will then deposit the £100 between October 15, 2024, and October 25, 2024. Following this, account holders will have the chance to earn between £5 and £15 in cashback each month for the first six months.

This means the maximum amount you can receive is up to £90, bringing the total to £190. However, to earn the monthly cashback, you must make at least 20 debit card payments.

New customers who meet the conditions for the £100 payment – and make 20 or more payments using their TSB debit card- will also be offered a free reward in March next year. Deals include: One night away for two people at participating hotels, Two Odeon cinema tickets each month for three months, or a six-month subscription to Now TV entertainment.

However, not everyone qualifies. You won’t be eligible for the cash reward if you’ve received a switch bonus from TSB since October 2022, and the switch must be finalised within 21 days of request. New customers can apply via tsb.co.uk, in-branch or through the TSB Mobile Banking app.

While the TSB Spend and Save card comes without a monthly fee, the Spend and Save Plus account will cost you £3 per month. Despite this seeming like a tempting offer, it’s vital to meticulously go through the terms and conditions before making any commitments.
