Blockchain data infrastructure platform SonarX partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to bring high-quality, indexed on-chain datasets to AWS’s Open Data program.
Therefore, it joined the teams at Base, Arbitrum, Provenance, Aptos, and Ripple.
The team revealed the collaboration at AWS’s ‘re:Invent 2024’ conference, where they discussed integrating SonarX’s data capabilities into AWS’s Web3 ecosystem.
According to the press release, access to this data will unlock further use cases and will boost adoption, hence benefiting both blockchain foundations and their ecosystems.
“Data is the foundation of everything,” said Jesse Bornstein, Global Head of Business Development of SonarX.
AWS’s decision to partner with SonarX and choose it to power its Blockchain Open Data products speaks of SonarX’s data quality, breadth of coverage, reliability, and robustness of its data infrastructure, the executive argued.
“It is an exciting time in our industry when you have the world’s largest cloud provider significantly increase its commitment to the space. It’s another strong signal that the mass adoption of blockchain is closer than ever,” Bornstein noted.

SonarX and AWS offer free, public access to comprehensive blockchain datasets, said the press release.
At the same time, the chain foundations are providing their respective ecosystems with “a powerful” public utility.
Furthermore, SonarX will provide curated indexed datasets across multiple blockchains thanks to the collaboration.
These are publicly available via AWS S3 buckets.
The team said SonarX’s proprietary Data Quality Framework will maintain the datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
“This development represents a significant leap in blockchain data accessibility and reflects the growing investment by major cloud providers in the blockchain industry,” the partners noted.
The joint goal of SonarX, AWS, and the chain foundations is to provide reliable and accessible data sources to the industry, which will enable developers and blockchains to innovate.
This includes enabling free access to high-quality historical blockchain datasets through AWS Open Data.
This move, the announcement states, will strengthen the developer ecosystem and set a new data integrity standard.
AWS choosing SonarX as a partner on their blockchain Open Data program is “a clear reflection of the team’s hard work in building the industry’s best data infrastructure,” commented Patrick Kim, Founder and CEO of SonarX.
“AWS’s decision to plant a bigger flag in blockchain marks a pivotal moment for the space,” he added. “We are really excited for what this means for the entire industry. We are equally as excited to work with a diverse group of blockchains capturing the most prevalent use cases, including RWAs, DeFi, Scaling, Payments, and SocialFi.”
