Everybody loves a bargain, and that’s why one man has taken to TikTok to show you how to make the things on shelves at B&M even cheaper than they already are.
Social media user @two.islam captioned his video: “How does NO one know about this? You better go before they see this video”. Heading into B&M with his shopping trolley, he said: “There’s a secret that B&M workers don’t want you to know, but I’m here to expose it.
“Nearly everything that I picked up in this trolley was 50 to 80% off”, he continued.
He explained that one of his friends “used to work in B&M” and they would “rarely update the sale price” on items – so things are often cheaper than they look on the shelves.
Islam recommended that you “download the B&M app and scan every item you want” to see the real price of it – rather than taking it to the till and hoping for the best. He scanned a £48 air fryer, which had been reduced to £30 – a whopping saving of £18.
He then showed a candle that said it was £1 on the shelf, but he scanned it on the app and it actually cost 25p. Apparently, a lot of the “home decor” section is where you’ll “find all of the cheap stuff”. He proceeded to scan a plant, which was listed as £10 – but on the app, it was 50% off coming in at just £5.
He even showed a plant that was listed as £22, but was “on sale for £10”. Islam continued to find bargains, where items were listed as £7, but coming up for just over £1.
“You need to come to B&M if you’re redoing your house”, he urged, saying that he was in the middle of giving his bedroom a makeover. He said he was “shook” at the RRP value of everything that he’d managed to bag.
It was meant to be a £280 basket, but they paid just £150.
