Binance Lists Three Meme Coins

Major crypto exchange Binance has announced the listing of three meme coins: Neiro, Turbo, and Baby Doge Coin.

As we’ve seen above, these coins have performed very well over the past 24 hours despite the overall market drop.

The trio has significantly outperformed the rest of the meme coin market.

Binance has opened trading for the available spot trading pairs today at 10:00 UTC.

New spot trading pairs include NEIRO/USDT, TURBO/USDT, and 1MBABYDOGE/USDT.

Users can start depositing NEIRO, TURBO, 1MBABYDOGE in preparation for trading an hour later, the announcement said.

Withdrawals will open on September 17 at 10:00 (UTC).

The listing fee is 0 BNB.

Neiro is commonly called the ‘little sister of DOGE.’ The coin was launched on the Ethereum blockchain following the death of the famous Shiba Inu Kabosu.

Subsequently, Kabosu’s family adopted a Shiba Inu they named Neiro, and several new coins were born with that news.

Justin Sun Announces ‘Exciting Week for Tron Memes’

On Sunday, Tron founder Justin Sun said that this week would be an “exciting” one for memes on this blockchain.

The Twitter post included six announcements.

The first development Sun listed is that Tron Super Representatives (the block producers in the TRON network) have proposed “a significant reduction” in network fees.

This, he argued, would boost transactions and network activity “like never before.”

Furthermore, Sun claimed, meme coins on the Tron blockchain will see an “even more remarkable performance in the bull market.”

Next up, Sun promised more partnerships with the institutional sector, as well as with “higher-quality” meme developers and celebrities.

Additionally, more exchanges will join the SunPumpMeme alliance and list these tokens, he claimed.

The TRON meme coin market cap is down 8.4% today, standing at $518 million.

On August 13, SUN.io, a DeFi platform on Tron, launched SunPump Beta, meant to stand as a rival to the popular Solana-based pump.fun.

It’s a platform that allows users to create meme coins on the Tron blockchain without coding.

The platform has so far recorded TRX 33,113,622 or $4.93 million, with 83,807 tokens created.

Lastly, Sun announced that the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) represented by the APENFT marketplace will interact “more strongly with the community.”

This, he said, will create “a synergy” between memes and NFTs.

Pump.fun Surpasses 2 Million Coins & $100M in Revenue

The popular Solana-based pump.fun platform, which enables users to create and trade meme coins, has surpassed the two-million-coins milestone.

The platform was launched in January of this year.

As of Monday morning (UTC), pump.fun has seen a total of 2,016,211 meme coins created.

In the last 24 hours alone, 5,122 coins have been created.

Moreover, the platform’s total revenue has exceeded the $100-million mark nine months post-launched.

It currently stands at $105,847,865.

The highest daily revenue was recorded on July 29, hitting $2.41 million.

In contrast, the revenue on September 15 stood at $287,493.

Looking at the pump.fun Solana dominance, pump.fun stood at 35.1% of all launches on the network, with 64.9% going to the other Solana launches.

On several days during its existence, primarily in July, the platform was responsible for over 50% of Solana launches, while in August, it exceeded a whopping 67%.
