As reported last week, KAMA surged in price after bookmakers gave Harris a 92% chance of being the Democrat Presidential candidate following President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the 2024 race.

Last Thursday, it was announced that KAMA will be listed on the CoinW exchange as well.

The coin is up 49,719% from its all-time low. It hit its all-time high of $17.51 two months ago and is down 68% since.

Meanwhile, these drops have continued despite Trump’s purported support for crypto during the Bitcoin 2024 Nashville conference.

He said he’d present his plan “to ensure that the United States will be the crypto capital of the planet and the Bitcoin superpower of the world and we’ll get it done.”

“I pledge to the Bitcoin community that the day I take the oath of office, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s anti-crypto crusade will be over,” he stated.

Death of Solana Celebrity Meme Coins

Though a meme coin resurrection would not be surprising, quite a few have recorded massive falls over the previous month, reaching a death point.

This is particularly the case for the celebrity-related coins launched on the Solana blockchain, which had previously seen an explosion in the crypto space, albeit a brief one.

These celebrities include Doja Cat, Iggy Azalea, Soulja Boy, 50 Cent, Davido, Waka Flocka, Floyd Mayweather, Hulk Hogan, Lil Reese, etc.

Twitter user Slorg, from the Jupiter exchange, claimed that “every single coin is down from their all-time high with an average decrease of 94%.”

This has occurred within a single month.

Slug noted some of the tokens on the list remain ‘active’ but in the sense that somebody’s tweeting about them “regularly.”

“With only 40% tweeting about the token at least once in the last week, most have followed the same trajectory of an initial pump, and then nothing,” Slug wrote. “Only a handful are still earnestly trying to varying degrees of success.”

The thread went on to imply that some of these may be “blatant pump and dumps.”

The best performers on the Solana celebrity meme coin list are DADDY, JENNER, MOTHER, and ALEXIS, but all are down by over 70%.

For the same coins highlighted by Slorg, Bubblemaps argued that insiders owned between 20% (MOTHER) and 90% (PRESI) of supplies.
