OVO Energy is offering customers up to a year of free heating worth over £340 in bill credit for making a simple switch.
The energy firm is giving the reward to customers who switch their gas boiler to a heat pump by signing up to OVO Beyond.
Customers need to sign up to ‘bank free heating credit’ via the OVO Beyond app and will then be able to accrue a maximum of a year’s worth of free heating over two years.
They can then start redeeming their free heating as credit off their monthly bill when they install a new heat pump with OVO in the future.
OVO Beyond is the firm’s new rewards programme which allows customers to make savings and bank rewards. Other incentives up for grabs include bankable EV miles, free solar panels, free boiler services and money off energy bills.
Mat Moakes, chief commercial officer at OVO, said: “We know that not everyone is ready to make the switch now, so we’re offering extra support to bank rewards and save for the future.
“Over half a million customers are already on the app ready to bank solar panels and EV miles, it’s one of the many ways that we’re helping households on the journey to a greener future.”
Dubbed the UK’s first ‘Energy Savings Account’, OVO Beyond allows customers to unlock up to £1,000 of exclusive savings, discounts and perks.

OVO has also partnered with brands including smol, Oddbox and Uber Green to offer exclusive discounts of up to 35%.
Additionally, customers who are signed up to OVO’s Power Move – which offers rewards for shifting energy usage to greener times of day – will receive up to an extra £10 off their bills each month (up to £120 per year) if they successfully shift power on top of their existing Power Move savings.
Beyond customers can also get VIP access to live events and experiences at OVO Hydro in Glasgow, OVO Arena Wembley and The O2 arena, as well as offers and competitions, through OVO Live, its dedicated music rewards programme.
