Virgin Media O2 customers can get £200 or free TV worth £399

Virgin Media O2 is offering new customers £200 bill credit or a free TV worth £399 on certain contracts.

The media firm says the freebies are available with selected broadband package bundles on an 18-month contract.

These include a ‘Bigger Movies’ 18-month contract for £99 per month, which allows customers to enjoy M250 Fibre Broadband with download speeds of up to 264 Mbps, 11 Sky Cinema channels in HD, plus more than 200 TV channels and weekend chatter.

A ‘Bigger Sports + HD’ 18-month contract for £99, which includes M350 Fibre broadband download speeds of up to 362 Mbps, 200 plus TV channels, weekend chatter and Sky Sports channels in high definition.

And a Mega Volt 18-moth contract for £84.99 per month, which is only available up until Monday, March 3, 2025. This bundle includes gigabit broadband, WiFi guarantee, a 250GB O2 SIM, O2 Extra and more than 240 TV channels and subscriptions services, including Netflix, Sky Sports HD and Sky Cinema HD at no extra cost.

Virgin Media says new customers who purchase one of these three selected bundles can get either a 43-inch Hisense TV, which is worth £399, or £200 bill credit.

In addition, customers will also get Virgin Media’s smart support, essential security, free activation and “the highest average download speeds of all internet providers”.

The firm said: “From today (20th February 2025) until Monday 3rd March 2025, Virgin Media O2 is offering new customers the opportunity to get their hands on a 43” Hisense TV (RRP £399) or £200 bill credit when they purchase selected bundles on an 18-month contract.

“The credit will be applied to a customer’s first bill, and any that’s left over will be applied to their following bills until it’s all used. As well as using the credit to pay their bill, they can use it to buy on-demand entertainment on Virgin TV.”

Virgin Media says customers who make purchases online via its website and activate services themselves will be eligible for free installation set up, which usually costs £35.

The firm adds: “If anything should slow down, Virgin Media’s market-leading WiFi guarantee offers minimum download speeds of 30Mbps in every room or £100 credit.”
